lens cap blues.
(in a recent comment posted by christian, i was asked what has gotten into me with all the new blogs lately… one a day for three days now. well, here’s the answer: i always get excited when i read someone’s blog and they have updated it… even if it’s not something that is totally unbelievable or even makes sense, just that they have something new on there. it’s like getting that new book from amazon in the mail, or constantly checking your bank account online and seeing that your paycheck was finally deposited. i’m not even sure that makes any sense whatsoever, but hey, it’s the way i think. i came to the conclusion that i could always think of some random comment to make about something…)
which brings us to today’s topic: lens cap blues. for the magazine, i have what i think to be the mac daddy of all cameras out there right now, the nikon d80… complete with one of those huge flashes that you attach to it, for really unbelievable pictures. here’s what’s hilarious though: i walk around with this awesome, high tech “i really know what i’m doing” camera around my neck, and instead of a lens cap, i have a sock covering the lens. i lost the lens cap downtown greenville a few weeks ago, and hey, i’d rather just make myself look ridiculous than get the lens scratched. so there. i look real cool.
**UPDATE: due to.. um.. taking a horrible, picture, i took it off… thanks courtney. hahaha…
